One trick I use to keep things looking even is before I roll my section I spray it lightly with hairspray, then run my finger down the section to smooth. You can also get some of those pink plastic rollers ( or any size) that are slick and wrap them around that and slide the roll off till you get the hang of it. When I first started to do this it took forever. Do it when you have extra time. Church hair will come with a lil practice. Hope this helps.
