Think of it like this what if "you" didn't have a past connected to these lyrics and you just saw the words written or a "new gospel" artist came out with the song how would you feel then? I feel he has reached out and touched some of our wayward youth and some of the "brothas" that dont feel its cool to worship and have given them a way to communicate with God. There is always going to be that worldly association to that melody regardless of the lyrics. As Christians we should be willing to let go of worldy things and our selves to serve Him. That being said, there are other ways of praising Him through song and dance than recycling melodies of secular songs.

Guys listen to Greg's testimony. He is truly a servant of God's kingdom. For that matter I love everybody for their boldness for proclaiming the Gospel for so many years, yet not losing the essence of Gospel in their songs. No matter how many member changes, message remains the same.

I know studio and live performances are different, but I think this one is kinda challenging for them to sing well in a live setting. Still love the song though.

Thanks Bill Gaither for puting this together. They are by far my all-time favorite group of any music style. Look forward to getting this DVD.
